Meet Casey Kolb, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Casey received her Bachelor’s of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from the University of Florida (Gainesville, Florida). She completed her clinical residency at The Georgia Hearing Institute, an Affiliate of The ENT Center of Central Georgia. While attending the University of Florida, she presented her research “Tympanoplasty Healing Outcomes” on behalf of the The American Otological Society (AOS) at the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting (COSM) 2021. This was a retrospective chart review analyzing patients with surgically-treated tympanic membrane perforations. Her research investigated the rate of sub-optimal healing outcomes with contemporary tympanoplasty techniques and additional post-operative factors that might contribute to suboptimal healing, and to assess the impact on hearing. Casey currently holds North Carolina State Licensure, is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Casey practices full-time in the Greenville location. In her free-time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, strength/endurance training, and competing in various functional fitness events and obstacle course races.”
